Chapter 1. Family- Buzz , Vanessa, Jane, and Carter are at sea with their Uncle Dex.  They are trying to get to know each other because their parents were married.

 

Chapter 3. Tragedy- The boat started to flood during the storm.

 

Chapter 4. Survival- trying to survive the sinking boat after the adults fell off the boat.

 

Chapter 6. Fear- They were scared that they were never going to find Dex and Joe.

 

Chapter 13. Saving Others- Carter saved Jane from going out to sea.

 

Chapter 18- Unhopeful- The Lucky Star got carried out to sea.

DEPRESION- Erik was depressed that he had to go to a new place, school, and house. Erik had to move to North Dakota with his grandparents because his parents were deploied to Iraq. Also he had only met his grandparents When  he was little so he wasn,t fariliarwith them. Aiso he wanted to hunt and he wasn,t allowed to hunt, wich he really wanted to do.

 

SURVIVAL-Erik ran away from his grandparents house. Erik had to survive the days he was away. Also he had to survive living far away from his parents.

Buzz, Vanessa,Carter, and Jane all had to dive down to the sunken Lucky Star to get supplies out of the boat.

Buzz had to spend more than an hour trying to make a fire with a piece of glass.

They had to build a lean to with bamboo against a cliff so they could live under it.
